ZOO offers a lot of possibilities for developers to create your own apps. Apps are file based like Joomla templates, which means just copy and paste an app folder into ZOO and the app works. To make it even easier just zip your app and it can be installed through the ZOO app installer. Apps have their own content parameters, templates, layout positions, etc. They can even have their own custom elements - And all in one package!
There is so much cool stuff in ZOO 2.0 that there might be some features missing in this list but we think we got all the major ones!
On Tuesday, 27 April 2010, Joomla Project announces the immediate availability of Joomla 1.5.17 [Wojmamni ama woobusani]. This is a priority release to correct two issues in version 1.5.16. Although there are no security issues fixed in this release, we consider it a security release because a security-related bug has been fixed and because many sites may be upgraded directly from 1.5.15 to 1.5.17.
The Joomla Project needs your help in testing our next release—Joomla 1.5.12 RC. This release has 22 bug fixes and two updates are significant enough to warrant community testing. This includes an upgrade to TinyMCE and changes to the framework PHPMailer class.
To Help with Testing
Download and install Joomla 1.5.12 RC in a testing environment. This is a Release Candidate and should not be used in a live production environment.
The Joomla Project announces the immediate availability of Joomla 1.5.11 [Vea]. This is a security release and users are strongly encouraged to upgrade immediately.

Kazé released a new kompozer 0.8alpha4 version to public few days ago. For those still don't know what kompozer is:
KompoZer is a complete web authoring system that combines web file management and easy-to-use WYSIWYG web page editing.
KompoZer is designed to be extremely easy to use, making it ideal for non-technical computer users who want to create an attractive, professional-looking web site without needing to know HTML or web coding.
Another step forward. For KompoZer 0.8a3 / 0.8a4 I’ve focused on these points:
bugfixes and improvements on HTML source edition
dual local/remote view in the site manager
KompoZer 0.8a3 has introduced a bug in the new site manager and two regressions in the CSS editor, this alpha4 is mainly a bugfix of the alpha3. It’s also the first build I propose on the official website.
When building Joomla! components, modules or plugins we can define all configuration parameters through XML files. Some common parameter types are predefined and can be used in our Joomla! extensions.
Every parameter you define must have five basic attributes.
Parameter name, so you can reference it later in your code.
A default value to be displayed and used if no value is chosen.
A visible label
A description appearing when the mouse cursor hovers over it
Currently supported browsers are: Internet Explorer 6 +, Mozilla Firefox, Safari 3, Opera 9+, Google Chrome. The latter three are not thoroughly tested. jsTree may also work with other browsers.
